[MUSIC PLAYING] Hi, I'm Natalie. And tonight, I'm going to use Thrive Food Storage to make a delicious, quick and easy meal for my family. I'm going to make Thrive broccoli and cheese soup, and some delicious cheesy cornbread. Let's start with the soup. I've got some water boiling in my pan, and I'm just going to add my soup. And that's really pretty much going to be it. Whisk it together. And I'll just let it simmer and thicken, while I put together the cornbread. I'll turn down the heat a little bit. To start, I'm going to put my pan-- this is just some shortening that I'm going to melt in the oven. This is a really great recipe. It gives it a nice crispy, crunchy, crust on the outside. So right here, I've got my dry ingredients. Some flour, Thrive cornmeal, Thrive three cheese blend, and some salt. Thrive salt, too, actually. Throw that in. I'm going to give that a little whisk just to incorporate it all together. And I'll put together the wet ingredients. Here I've got-- ooh, let's turn that soup down. Keep an eye on your soup I've got some milk here. This is actually Thrive powdered milk. Some buttermilk. These are Thrive eggs, which I absolutely love using in my baking. I use them exclusively now. Some baking soda, and baking powder. Whisk that together. This is very simple. Anyone can do this. Now, let's combine those two together. You don't want to over mix. That's the only fussy thing about it. And then we're going to add some melted shortening. And just combine that through. Let's hope that our shortening is melted. It should be perfect timing. Perfect timing, it's all melted. I'm going to pour my batter in, and put it back in the oven. It's baking at 400 degrees just till it's golden brown, about 10, 15 minutes. Smooth it out. OK. OK, it's just been about 15 minutes, and my soup is just simmering away. Now, I don't know if you like yours just nice and smooth. I like mine with a little more texture, so I've re-constituted up some Thrive broccoli, and I'm going to add that in. I like a little crunch in mine. Give that a little stir. And then I'm going to check on my cornbread. It should be just perfect. Excellent. Oh, it smells so good. OK, let's serve up for the family. Just ladle this into my bowl. Oh, I knew I'd drip. It's nice and thickened, and I'm so excited about those broccoli pieces. That's just going to make my night. OK, I'm going to turn that off. OK, now we're going to cut our delicious cornbread. It's hot. Don't burn yourself. That's something I always do. This just has the best, nicest texture, and crispiness. I'm so excited. This is a nice homey, homey meal. All right. There we go. And be sure to have some butter on there. I like mine with honey, too. Even with the cheese, I think it's good with honey. There you go. Dinner is served. [MUSIC PLAYING]
