Quick & Easy: Kirkland Signature Mac and Cheese 2-Ways
Recipe 1:
Seafood Mac and Cheese
Makes 6 to 8 servings
Ingredients:
3 Tbsp shallots, finely chopped
2 Tbsp Kirkland SignatureTM Olive Oil
1½ cups Kirkland Signature Cooked Shrimp
40 oz (5 cups) prepared Kirkland Signature Macaroni and Cheese
1 cup Kirkland Signature Comte Cheese, shredded
½ cup heavy whipping cream
1 tsp thyme, finely chopped
¾ cup Kirkland Signature Shredded Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 F. Saute shallots in olive oil and let cool. Cut shrimp into bite-size pieces. Combine Macaroni and Cheese, cut shrimp, sauteed shallots, Comté cheese, heavy whipping cream and thyme. In a separate bowl, mix shredded cheese and breadcrumbs. Add Macaroni and Cheese mixture to a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish. Top with cheese and breadcrumb mixture. Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and brown on top.
Tip: Use tuna, crab or lobster in place of shrimp.
Recipe 2:
Loaded Mac and Cheese
Makes 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
40 oz (5 cups) Kirkland SignatureTM Macaroni and Cheese
9 strips Kirkland Signature Hormel Fully Cooked Bacon, chopped
1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
½ cup sour cream
3 Tbsp green onions, sliced
2 Tbsp chives, sliced finely
¾ cup Kirkland Signature Shredded Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
½ cup cheddar crackers, crushed
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 F. Combine Macaroni and Cheese, chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions and chives in a medium-size bowl.
In a separate small bowl, combine Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese and crackers. Place Macaroni and Cheese mixture in an oven-safe 13 x 9-inch casserole dish. Top with cheese and crushed cracker mixture. Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and brown on top. Garnish with chives.
Tip: To add sliced hot dogs, double recipe as needed.
