How to Make a Good 'Brewed Coffee', featuring Pike Place Medium Roast Coffee
[MUSIC PLAYING] You know I think for most people, drip is, kind of, the first experience with coffee. I mean, that's what I think of in my parent's kitchen. Drip coffee is cool, because it's convenient. And you can have an amazing cup of coffee by following some fundamentals, and that includes having fresh coffee, making sure that it's ground correctly. For a flap on a filter, think a little bit finer than kosher salt. A cone filter will be even a little bit finer than that. Proportion is absolutely the key, and we recommend two tablespoons of ground coffee for every six ounces of water. Coffee is over 99% water, so pure water, filtered water is the best. There's something really nice and just really simple about drip coffee. [MUSIC PLAYING]
