There is no power button. Connect to home using any Bluetooth device to play your favorite music, saved on or streamed from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. To pair, go to the settings on your device, and select SMHome from the list. The Bluetooth speaker is now ready for streaming. When you're ready to make the transformation to in-home karaoke, Singing Machine Home is ready for you on demand. Turn your TV off before connecting the HDMI cable to the HDMI jack on the unit and HDMI port on your television. Next, pair Home with the wireless mic remote to switch to singing machine play mode. Home automatically detects the presence of the mic remote. Press down on the optical trackpad to pair. The LED indicator light will turn from red to a steady green. The mic remote is used to navigate Singing Machine Play, and control the master volume of Singing Machine Home. To mic remotes can be connected simultaneously. This wireless mic remote works double time, as both a remote control, and as the microphone to sing into, when you activate your account with Singing Machine Play. When you connect Home to your television, it transforms into a full karaoke party, with Wi-Fi-enabled access to the world's largest collection of high-def karaoke videos, hosted in the cloud, available through subscription. Click the optical trackpad on the mic remote to switch to Singing Machine Play. Select or enter your Wi-Fi network. Follow the instructions to register and get started. Choose from several affordable subscription options, right from your television screen. Select, sing, and share the experience of any song, any time. The wireless mic remote puts you in control to browse or search, plays a massive library of songs, and set up a customized video play queue that keeps the party going without interruption, without any music management required. When karaoke time is over, simply disconnect from play mode to return to using Home as a wireless Bluetooth speaker.
